Update: If you have old NS version (<36), you can connect to hybrid server, but you cant see that server on favourites. With NS v36 will be everything OK.

Latest VALVE update change CS 1.6 protocol from version 47 (p47) to 48 (p48). Protocols are incompatible: if server running on p48, you can connect only with p48 client (steam, nonsteam v36). If server running on p47, you can connect only with p47 client (old ns clients).

Solution: Until all NS servers update to p48, install both NS version on your computer. Simply copy your old ns CS (p47) to new folder. Then apply patch v36 on new folder. Then you can connect to every server, you just run propriet client. Cumulative patch (update) tested on most spreaded NS version - 23b. If you have trouble witch patching other versions, try download full CS version.

CS is launched by "hl.exe -game cstrike -steam", so dont have the Steam client launched.

If you see this message, you try connect to old server with new client.
In this case spam admins to update their server :)
